ABOUT US
"Kala" is a Sanskrit word which means an art form or an art skill. Bharat, that is current India, is home to hundreds of art forms depicting its rich cultural heritage. These art forms, shaped by the interplay of beliefs, histories, and unique processes developed by our own very artisans, often remain overlooked
Committed to promoting awareness of handmade art, crafts, and textiles, we provide a direct platform for rural artisans to connect with buyers worldwide. By empowering artisans to join the creator economy, we champion SDGs 8, 10, and 17
Our mission is to offer art buyers the chance to own authentic artwork, be it as an NFT or a physical piece, enhancing their buying journey while sustaining the livelihoods and cultural legacy of India's talented artisans

SANDEEP MADHAV BHOIR
SANTU TELAM
From Thane, Maharashtra, is a member of the Warli tribe. Raised in Veti, a rural area near Mumbai, he reflects his tribe's deep connection with nature in his art. Using symbols like circles for the sun and moon, triangles for mountains and trees, his paintings depict daily life and social events of the Warli tribe.
Hailing from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, comes from a lineage of Gond artists. He attributes his skill in Gond art to his brother and sister-in-law. Having spent a significant part of his life in forests and mountains, his paintings reflect his experiences. Besides his artistic endeavours, he also supports his family farming activites.
"Art is not an end in itself but a means to awaken the consciousness of people to their own greatness." - Swami Vivekananda
